Welcome to the Planning, Policy & Strategy (PPS) Division!
This division provides leadership for the department in planning, data development and reporting, legislation, policy and grants. Our goal is to create a rich picture and a shared vision of who our customers are, how we are serving them and how we can enhance our service in the future.
- Planning – we transform data into action by distilling useful information from the sea of department data. Additionally, information is made available to the public for purposes of transparency and accountability.
- Policy — we help department executives understand the implications of pending and adopted legislation and develop policy and program recommendations to best meet the needs of our local community, while leading strategic change initiatives to elevate organizational capability.
- Fund Development —we develop state and federal government and foundation grant submissions on behalf of the department, and often with nonprofit partners.
