This phone number is to be used by current Medi-Cal and Food Stamp clients only (those not receiving cash assistance). You will no longer have just one Medi-Cal/Food Stamp worker. Anyone who answers the toll free line will help you immediately
- Report Medi-Cal and CalFresh changes (such as a new address, income newborn, etc.)
- Ask questions about your benefits
- Receive assistance completing forms
Your Medi-Cal/Food Stamp Case Number or Social Security Number will help the representative serve you more quickly.
You will be able to talk to a courteous and professional representative, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to take care of your Medi-Cal and Food Stamp needs.
Courtesy phones are available at most District Employment & Human Services offices and can connect you directly to the Service/Call Center.
Under certain conditions, you will be able to make an appointment to see a Service/Call Center representative near your home.
