Step 1: Access Website, Register New Account

Enter bidnetdirect.com/california/contracostacounty in your browser’s address bar. A Vendor Registration button will appear on the top right-hand corner of the website. Use the button to move forward with registration. Alternatively, there is a secondary option to use the Register Now button to begin new vendor.

Step 2: Begin Registration

A new dialog should pop-up. Follow the prompts and fill out the requested information and continue to Create Account.

Step 3: Choose Your Plan

On the next screen, there will be options to choose a plan. You do not need a paid plan to view or submit bids. Choose the “Basic” plan for $0 to move forward with the registration process.

Step 4: Review Your Selection

On the next screen, you will be able to review your selection. Confirm the correct plan chosen and move forward to the next screen via the Continue button .

Step 5: Registration Completed

You should receive a registration confirmation on the next screen.

NEW Submission Process Effective January 1, 2026

EHSD is transitioning its formal bid process for open RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to the BidNet platform. If you are a vendor/contractor, this means a change to how you will access our postings and submit your bids.

The important first step is to register with the BidNet system at Contra Costa County - Bid Opportunities and RFPs | BidNet Direct. All existing and prospective contractors will need to complete this step.
