“NEED TO $UCCEED”
Offered by the Vogt-Morentz Charitable Fund
Are you a former foster youth who could use help paying for school?
The “Need to $UCCEED” Scholarship helps former foster youth from Contra Costa County continue their education. It is for people age 21 and older who are enrolled in a four-year college or a trade program through a community college. The scholarship also supports students who may have taken a break from school and are returning to finish their education.
Students can receive up to $3,000 to help pay for school, given in two payments if they show progress after six months. Interested applicants must send proof of enrollment, a copy of their transcript, and a short personal statement about themselves. This scholarship is funded by the Vogt-Morentz Charitable Fund and managed by VESTIA.
