EHSD is partnering with the California Emerging Technology Fund (CETF) on a direct mail campaign to notify more than 180,000 Contra Costa County households that may be eligible for low-cost internet plans. EHSD will mail postcards to households that participate in existing public assistance programs. This mailer will direct them to the CETF website, as well as a toll-free phone number for the CETF Call Center. The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors approved this program on October 7, 2025, with funding provided by CETF.
The postcard mailer is expected to go out around April 21st, 2026. For more information, call (855) 725-1434 or visit InternetForAllNow.org.
