The Employment & Human Service Department (EHSD) has difficult news to share. Our longstanding North Richmond Service Integration Team (SIT) Site is relocating to 1305 Macdonald Avenue. After December 12th, 2025, the Fred Jackson office will be closed to the public. EHSD has long leased this building, and it is no longer available to us.
EHSD is committed to continuing to serve our North Richmond community members as we are working to identify a site in North Richmond where clients can meet with staff. During this transition we will still be a presence in the North Richmond community, such as through attending events, and EHSD social workers conducting home visits.
North Richmond residents can access our same programs and services at the Macdonald location starting Monday, December 15th, 2025.
The North Richmond SIT Site has served the local community for years and we know how much community members rely on our services. EHSD remains dedicated to serving the needs of the North Richmond community.
