RFP 1227 Community Action Projects
Contra Costa County (County) Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD) announces Request for Proposals (RFP) 1227. This RFP is seeking applications from eligible organizations to design and deliver Community Action Projects in alignment with the 2026-27 Contra Costa County Community Action Plan.
Selected organizations may be awarded up to, but not more than, $200,000 annually or up to $400,000 for two (2) years, contingent upon the availability of additional funding, to implement Community Action projects in the area(s) of affordable housing/shelter/rental assistance, food security/nutrition, mental health access, and/or employment/living wage jobs. Awarded amounts typically range from $40,000 to $80,000 per organization. Grants are awarded for a two (2) year period.
Deadline to submit questions about RFP 1227 is Thursday, September 11, 2025. Submit questions to [email protected]. Responses will be published Friday, September 26, 2025.
