RFP 1223 Differential Response Path II & After Care Services
The Contra Costa County Employment and Human Services Department (EHSD) Children and Family Services (CFS) Bureau is pleased to announce Request for Proposal (RFP) 1223 seeking three (3) qualified community-based and/or faith-based organizations that have interest, experience, and expertise in
- Supporting and engaging with children and families in the community, which may include at risk* families and families who have come to the attention of child welfare; and
- Delivering direct, live, in-home and in-person case management services to stabilize the family unit.
*At risk of child welfare involvement is defined as having one (1) or more risk factors associated with child maltreatment, e.g., parents with mental health concerns, parental substance abuse, exposure to domestic violence/intimate partner violence, parental or child disabilities, young parental age, poverty, etc.
Program funding is estimated at up to $2,635,000 for the initial twenty-four (24) month period of January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027 with the possibility of a one (1) year renewal based on satisfactory performance, available funding, and service need. Funding may include county, state, and federal funds.
Final proposal submission due by Monday, July 28, 2025 by 5:00 pm PST.
