Most notices from PG&E are either a 15-day notice or a 48-hour notice. Should you get a notice and are unable to make a payment, please call the HEAP office at (925) 681-6380, and leave your name and a good contact number where you can be reached. A HEAP staff will return your call and set-up an appointment with you at our office.
Once the application has been processed and you qualify for funds, intake staff be able to determine that amount you qualify for. Please note that the amount you qualify for, may not be enough to pay the entire bill. If this is the case, you will first need to make a co-payment, then fax or bring in proof of payment, and finally the HEAP intake staff will be able to call PG&E’s agency line and guarantee to pay the qualified amount.
