Post Adoption Support Groups

Support groups are available to any family that has adopted a child through Contra Costa County. These groups are currently held in West County and Central County although families from all over the county and those who live outside the county participate. Services include parent support groups which are lead by staff experienced with adoption and family issues; childcare; groups for adopted children and resource referral. Services are provided through a contract with Family Stress Center and West Coast Children’s Center. For more information, please call our Adoption Unit at
